  Since 1^st January 2010, the Regional Council in charge of the Canal du Nivernais, Canal du Centre, Canal de Bourgogne and the navigable river Seille. A unique experiment in France which will last three years.

  With a strong identity, Burgundy is a leading destination for lovers of wine and gastronomy, art and history, but also recreational sports, nature, fishing and river walks. Located at 13^e rank tourist destinations regional French, Burgundy tends to a special attractiveness.

• Festival of art history: the canals of Burgundy

  The second festival of art history, free and open to all, takes place from 1^st June 3, 2012 in Fontainebleau, with the theme "Travel" and a guest country: Germany. On this occasion, the management culture and heritage, sports and youth - service and inventory of the heritage area will feature an inventory of cultural heritage canals of Burgundy.

• The castle Sallay: Alliance Heritage and environment

  Former summer residence of the Dukes of Nevers, this Renaissance castle combines heritage and environment. Its renovation was supported by the Regional Council of Burgundy.

• The hotel restaurant Aux Terrasses demand is for the eco-label

  Jean-Michel Carrette and his wife Amanda took over the family hotel and restaurant in 1995. To meet the expectations of their customers, they modernize the facility, while adopting a sustainable development approach.

• The Blue Rock put on the green

  The lodging of the Blue Rock is an eco-house copy reconciling both the management of space, water, energy, waste and hospitality to all audiences. Supported by the regional council, he has obtained the European Ecolabel certification, a first for a furnished accommodation in the Far East.

• Take a regional exhibition!

  The Regional Council of Burgundy regularly exhibits photographs of the Burgundian heritage that identifies and studies in the direction of the culture, heritage and service inventory. To bring this regional heritage, now you can borrow these exposures.

• Tourism professionals: do you train!

  The Regional Council renewed the training device destined for any tourism professional set up three years ago already. Always based on the strong partnership with the training insurance funds (Agefos SME CNFPT, Uniformation, FAFIH, and Vivea FAFSA), the objective is to professionalize financially supported to improve the quality of tourism in Burgundy. In 2011-2012, the supply has 18 training modules.

• Walking climates

• Call for proposals "Responsible Tourism"
